Follow the steps given below to schedule an appointment:
Step 1 - You need to visit the UIDAI website
Step 2 - Click Book an Appointment under the Get Aadhaar header after navigating to the My Aadhaar section
Step 3 - Click Proceed to Book Appointment after choosing your city or location
Step 4 - Click Get OTP after entering your captcha code and mobile number. Click Verify OTP after entering the OTP
Step 5 - Type your name and Aadhaar number, then select "Mobile Number." After that, enter and confirm your mobile number
Step 6 - After entering your appointment details, proceed to the next step. You can choose to pay the fee online or at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra while linking your mobile number. An acknowledgement slip with your appointment details will be issued to you.
Step 7 - On the scheduled date, visit the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, collect the Aadhaar update form, and complete the biometric verification process.

You cannot link your mobile number with Aadhaar card offline. To do so, you need to visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra and complete the process. Follow the steps given below:
Step 1 - Find the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Aadhaar Enrollment Center by visiting UIDAI's official website or through the mAadhaar mobile app
Step 2 - Get the Aadhaar Correction Form and complete the necessary fields after visiting the Aadhaar Seva Kendra

Step 3 - Do not forget to include the current phone number you wish to use to connect your Aadhaar
Step 4 - Fill out the form and assist the executive in confirming your biometrics after submitting a request to the center official
Step 5 - The executive will give you the acknowledgement slip when your biometrics have been successfully authenticated
Step 6 - You can use the upgrade Request Number (URN) on the slip to track the status of your Aadhaar upgrade
Step 7 - Once your mobile number is linked properly, you can benefit from different Aadhaar services simply by entering the OTPs that you receive on your phone
Step 8 - You can verify the status of your Aadhaar update by dialing 1947, the toll-free number that UIDAI provides, rather than using the URN.
A Self-attested copy of your Aadhar card is the only document needed to link your card to a mobile connection. For this purpose, you are not required to present any further documentation, proof of address, or evidence of identification.
